SPICED MAPLE SIMPLE SYRUP
- ¾ cup Pure Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup Water
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 3 Cardamom Pods
- 2 Star Anise
- 1 Piece of Fresh ginger, roughly ½ inch wide
- Juice & Zest of 1 Orange
- ¼ cup Light Brown Sugar
HOW TO
- In a small saucepan add all ingredients and bring to a boil
- Boil for 1 minutes and remove from the heat to chill
- Once chilled strain out spices
MAPLE BOURBON PUNCH
Yield: 1 bowl of punch, 6-8 drinks
- 1½ cup Bourbon
- 6 Dashes Orange Bitters
- 1 cup Spiced Maple Simple Syrup (the entire recipe above)
- 1 Bottle (750ml) Prosecco
HOW TO
- Combine bourbon, bitters and spiced maple simple syrup in a punch bowl
- When ready to serve add ice and prosecco
